I am not sure where she learned this pose but, and I have said it before, this baby never stops making me smile. Pose away baby girl!
Well maybe just this :) I mentioned awhile back that we have put our Ruby in speech so I thought I might update. Baby girl just didn't talk. Who knows why. I still think it is because she is so stubborn but regardless we have been doing speech almost 2 months now and I have totally noticed a change. Ruby regularly uses 3 word phrases now where just a few months ago it was 1 word, if you got that out of her. The therapist who comes to our house is super sweet and Ruby looks forward to her visits, mostly because of this ball toy that she has I think. When I asked how long they thought she would need to continue and they said at least until her birthday and maybe a little bit beyond that. Progress right?
Finally got the 6 pack together for a shot and I figured why not use it for Small Style Thursday. It is always a lot of fun when we all get together and it is also REALLY REALLY loud. 6 little girls know how to scream let me tell you :)
The girls picked out their own outfits to wear to the dentist. Their styles couldn't be more different. I love that!
So today was a big day here at the zoo because Violet went to school with Piper. Yep, my 4 year old went to Kindergarten. How cool is that? How cool is Piper's teacher for asking Violet to come in? Now she woke up this morning saying she didn't want to go but then Piper talked her into it and she went back and forth and shed a few tears when we got there because she was nervous and scared but the whole time I told her she could come home with me. We got to the classroom though and once she started playing it was all done. "Bye Mama!" By the way this picture is totally typical of my life trying to get them all in the same shot. Notice only 1 child looking at me. Seeing this makes me smile though :)
Participation in Team Up Thursday was down so Megan and Melody decided to take the summer off. What am I to do? I love memes to get me through the week. The less thinking that this mama has to do the better :) I have been watching Stephanie do Small Style Thursday at Mama Loves Papa for awhile now and thought I would try it out. Let me start out by saying we shop thrift stores. Almost exclusively. However you would be very surprised at what people are donatinging these days at least I am floored a lot of the time. It is a Hanna day here at the zoo but I adore the quality of the clothing and when I find it almost always buy because it easily makes it's way down the line and often times I can either donate or gift the item when Ruby has outgrown it.
