Simple is better?

Every year we end up buying too much for the kids and then taking some back before Christmas. This year we scaled waaayyy back and only got 1 big present for the both of them to share and then a few smaller gifts to open. After thinking about it we actually are taking back that big present and just giving them the smaller ones that I hope they will enjoy just as much. Tonight after dinner gave me hope, instead of hitting the playroom for one of their princess/fairy dresses they made their own out of newspapers. They danced and twirled in them and then HAD to show their Daddy their beautiful dresses. I think this will be a wonderful Christmas!

That is awesome...those dresses are gorrrgeous! Me and my friend made ourself garbage bag and duct tape dresses once year in Bible college...haha...it way more fun than dressing up in a fancy silk gown!
