Wiggles!! That is right, today was the big concert. We got the girls all psyched up this morning for this afternoon's concert. You know, I am not the biggest fan of the kiddie music but these guys put on quite the show. I swear Anthony and Ben's energy was bottomless - they were go, go, go the entire time. We got ticket's with some friends and all kids had a blast! Here are a few pictures, btw I totally need to save up for a decent point & click b/c my cheapie camera is horrible (but it was free sooo....). Piper loved that they had ballerinas in the beginning.
Whew, it has been a while since I posted. Not on the computer too much lately. Anyway, we signed up Piper for her ballet class. They have a certain dress code that we will have to follow. Plain black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, a blue sock and a pink sock, and hair back in a bun with hair net. Wow huh? Well, I managed to get the outfit and her hair in a bun so watch out world here comes our little ballerina!!
Awww, aren't they cute? Mine know it too! This morning Piper and Violet picked out their clothes and dressed themselves. After breakfast they headed into the playroom and came out with Piper wearing a doggy's Halloween costume (Vampire dog) and Violet wearing her bunny ears. I laughed at them so Piper knew I thought she was being cute and says to me "Go and get your camera and take our picture!" - now if I can just get 2 little girls to actually look at me NORMALLY and get a picture :)
If only we could have :) Yesterday our good friend Billy came over to give us a surprise ride on his sailboat. We almost didn't think we would make it out of our dock b/c his rope broke to start the motor BUT being the good captain he is he had a spare so off we went.
Yesterday we were invited to take the girls bowling at a relatively new place in our town. I add that it is new b/c it was so modern! Seriously, the bumpers automatically went up when it was one of the kid's turns. Maybe I am just waayyy behind on the times but I thought it was pretty darn cool and have never seen anything like that before. The smallest size shoes they had were a 9 so they swam on Piper but she insisted on wearing them anyway. I actually gave up my spot so that Violet could bowl instead of me. Here are a few pictures from the day.
Even though we had the tank totally perfect the last Nemo that we brought home "fell". Unfortunately Piper saw the crabs trying to eat him and me trying to get him away from the crabs so that I could return him to the store for another. We decided to wait awhile to replace him and this past Wednesday we finally went back. Not only did we get Nemo, but we got him an anemone to live in, and also a pretty blue snail. Talk about the stress that I went through this morning when that anemone was all shrunk up - what did I do? Thankfully I *think* he is alright now and here is a current shot from the side of our own little ocean.
