Pony Royale Review #CleverPonyRoyale

>> Wednesday, July 18, 2012

This post is sponsored by Pony Royale. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Pony Royale, a new toy line starring beautiful princess ponies, brings a fresh new approach to princess play in the fashion doll category. Pony Royale combines favorite play patterns - hair play, fashion play and nurturing play – to give children endless hours of open-ended creative play with a fun and easy fashion system. The full collection, featuring 12 Princess Ponies, all with the ability to mix-and-match their manes, tails and fashion pieces, will hit store shelves in late July at Toys R Us.

package (1 of 1)

My girls were lucky enough to play with the ponies before they get to Toys R Us! We received Harmony and Sienna. I couldn't get the package opened soon enough for our pony lovers. The twelve Princess Ponies are pony action figure dolls with names, personalities, and changeable hair and outfits. With two Pony Royale dolls, make over 60 fashion styles! Each pony comes with a jeweled birthstone blaze, two sets of Change-It-Up Hair and hair brush included!

The week that Sienna and Harmony arrived was hot. Let me rephrase, H.O.T.! Afternoons were spent indoors to escape the 100+ degree temps. The new Pony Royale Princess Ponies gave them hours of imaginative play. Our lucky Princess Pony's were treated to their hair being braided, taken out, brushed, and braided again.

Our little Ruby loved them right away. Although she is only 3 she was able to remove the hair and change it as easily as the older two. She thought it was fun to use one color of hair for the mane and another for the tail. She liked her Princess Pony so much in fact that she didn't want to share her with the others. Thankfully Ruby naps occasionally because that allowed Piper and Violet time to play together.

read (1 of 1)

Piper read to her sisters about the other Princess Ponies in the Pony Royale stable which were quickly added to their wish lists. A map of the Princess Pony's land sent them on adventures throughout our house ending in the living room where the girls changed out their pony's hair, switched up costumes, and got them ready to go again. The Pony Royale website tells you about each Princess Pony. Fun girlie things like who her BFF is, what her favorite drink is, and gives a brief description of her personality. Cute right? Piper was all over that!

A beautiful Princess Pony with her birthstone blaze would make an excellent birthday gift for that special princess in your life. Piper wants Starfire when they become available to the public this month since she just celebrated her birthday. It will give each of our girls their own Princess Pony to play with and many more hair options. Pony Royale will also be selling Fashion Sets and Hair Packs to dress your Princess Pony for the beach or maybe a day chasing butterflies. A girl needs a lot of options!

Visit the Pony Royale website for more information. Look for Princess Ponies in stores starting late July! Meanwhile, be sure to check out Pony Royale’s Facebook page and follow them on Twitter!

Pear Tree Greetings Valentine Card Giveaway!

>> Tuesday, January 24, 2012

I love Valentine's Day and I always have. Thing is hubs works basically every one. I am not sure that he has been in town in the 13 years we have been together once. It's all good though because now I have kids. The girls and I have been working on a few projects to decorate the house and make it explode hearts. If I can't have a romantic date night with my love I will go all out to make it special for my girls.

This year I have 2 in school who will be exchanging cards with classmates. We received the sweetest Valentine's for my 5 year old preschooler to give to her classmates. She looked her choices over and over before deciding on the polka dot petal design. I have to say that they are absolutely adorable! This made such a fun afternoon project for us to do together.

There are quite a few designs to choose from and Pear Tree Greetings has a great selection of both boy and girls cards.

Now just in time for Valentine's Day you can win $25 towards your Valentine's Day product purchase. Ready?
Mandatory Entry:

Hotpants Review

>> Friday, November 18, 2011

I would like to lose a few pounds but have been unable to get going on doing it. I agreed to try Hot Pants because I was hoping it would boost my initial weight loss to get me motivated to continue eating more healthy and exercising more vigorously.

Hotpants increase your perspiration by up to 80% and you can feel it working as you are working out. Made with a comfortable material with bio-ceramic technology which emit far-infrared rays (heat waves) and reflect back the heat naturally generated by the body to promote deeper warming of tissue and breakdown of fat cells. They look nice on but if you are not comfortable in bike shorts you can wear some sweats over the top. That is what I did when I walked in them.

I have only had my Hotpants now for a week but I look forward to next week when I can finish my 2 week challenge! You can wear them any time of the day but of course working out gives you the best results.

It isn't just me saying how great Hotpants are. Check out Hotpants on Facebook and see what everyone else is saying. Hotpants are stylish and so far they are really working for me!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Pear Tree Greetings!

>> Thursday, October 27, 2011

As I sit here and type this post about Christmas cards it is 80 degrees outside. The thing is though for any of us who want to get out and take a picture specifically for a Christmas card we have to start thinking now. What to wear? Where should we have the "photoshoot"? Finally the most important decision. What card design do I want this year?

The quality of the card is as important to an amateur photog, like myself, as the picture itself. A perfect shot printed on cheap paper still looks bad. I will admit that I used to go to the big name stores and order 100 of the "photo cards" and sent them out proudly with sun in my kids eyes and them barely looking at the camera. As I started grasping photography more I spent a few years creating my own cards in photoshop, having them printed, bought envelopes separately, and sending them out. And then we had Ruby. If you read my blog you know this child keeps us all on our toes. Nowadays I still want the originality of a home made card but the quality from a professional printer but I just don't have the time to do it myself. I have found happiness with Pear Tree Greetings.

You don't have to love photography to love a nice card though. Maybe you would choose to be a little different with an ornament shaped card or the modern christmas letter might be more your thing. Finding that perfect card is easy at Pear Tree Greetings with so many choices. I have been attempting to be more "green" so I chose a recycled card. It shares the fun times our family had this year with everyone we don't get to talk to everyday.

So, pick out that outfit, take that picture, and then relax because Pear Tree Greetings makes choosing, designing, and ordering a breeze.
