When is this baby going to sleep? I feel that I am the only person alive who has a 10 month old who still doesn't sleep through the night. There are no teeth coming in. She doesn't even nap much during the day. What's up Ruby? She wakes up no less than 3 times a night to nurse still. I am tired! (Ruby vent over) Matt has been working so late these past few days maybe I will sneak a nap in myself today if I can manage to get Ruby to sleep with me. Must act quickly b/c the older girls are laying down right now!

Took this yesterday with our remote and I cropped myself out b/c I don't generally like photos of myself :) She even has a runny nose so that should make her tired, right?

So school is still canceled here. Today it is raining. School canceled for rain? Yep. The only reason that it even bugs me is b/c Piper has been so excited to go to school all week and hasn't been able to. Hopefully Monday :)

365 Project

Ok, I am going to do it but not on this blog b/c this is our family blog. A picture every day for a year - wow. Some days they may be random but *fingers crossed* there will be a picture relating to our day to day life somehow over there. Over where you ask?

Our Little Ruby

10 months old already! She is more like 10 1/4 months old and I am late with this post. Little miss likes to stand. I am trying so hard to get her standing up on video but when I get the Flip out she wants to play with it so it is hard. The other day she took 5 steps. It's going to get interesting around here very soon I am afraid.

I wanted to take her picture today but it was like a fun game to our little baby. Mama would get up and put her facing the wall on the other side of the room with something that she NEVER gets to play with but as soon as I would get back to the window to take the picture Ruby would start laughing and crawl over to me. I tried for at least 5 minutes back and forth, back and forth. Honestly I didn't think I even got the picture that I wanted but I did! If only I could have captured her rolls - ahh well there is always tomorrow :)

Wordful Wednesday - Rainy Day Ballerinas

Been cooped up in the house since Friday. With all this "winter" weather I cranked up the heat, turned on the iTunes, and let the girls run around in their ballet clothes yesterday. They showed off their mad dancing skills and pretended they were Taylor Swift & Katy Perry singing on stage.

School is cancelled AGAIN! I would love to hang out around the house in our pj's but I am out of bread & milk - *gasp*! You can tell that I am a transplant when I am not stocked up on those items during a winter storm. Off we will go to a mama's home away from home - Target :)

So I am a talker. Used to get in trouble for it in school all.the.time. I can't be 100% sure on this factoid but I don't think I have ever had a "wordless" Wednesday post. For me to participate in a Wordless challenge is comical. I am participating in a Wordful Wednesday event from now on over at...

Crafty Tuesday - Valentine Cards (2010)

The list came home last week with all the little one's names from Piper's preschool class. Monday while Ruby slept I cut out enough heart shapes for her to make cards for each one of her friends. There are extras b/c Violet will want to make some for her friends too.

We got a little bit of a start coloring on Monday b/c there was no school and ballet was also cancelled due to inclement weather. Piper ended up wanting to color in the My Little Pony coloring book after only 2 or 3 so put aside the heart project until today. Thankfully the party isn't until next Friday b/c at this rate it may take that long to get these made.

Originally I had thought about making a little heart lollipop by gluing 2 hearts around the sucker but unfortunately the lolli stick isn't long enough to really make it work so on to plan B. If I continue posting the crafts we do around here you will find there are a lot of plan B's.

Although we are not done with them all here is the final product that her and I put together. Inside of each heart "pocket" there is a Sweet Tart sucker, a princess tattoo, and a little girlie notebook. Boys will get a rockstar tattoo and a sucker. Remember when we just got little cards?

Girlies ended up putting on their ballet clothes so that they could dance, dance, dance. That was fun to watch!

Matt has started his new job and he works a ridiculous amount of hours. He is doing this to provide for our family and I am so lucky to have him work so hard so that I am able to stay home with our girls. With him working so much though I miss seeing him and so do the girls.

Week 5 Challenge - My Story In Photos: Places I Love

We weren't able to go anywhere last year due to Matt's old job so if I would post a picture of a place I loved it would be ancient and they are not even on my computer b/c it crashed last year - lazy me! I thought that I might head into town and take pictures of the girls there b/c I love where we live and it is part of our story but the weather has kept me from being able to do that. So many buts right? Since most of the time I would rather be home with my family playing a game or hanging out with my husband talking or watching a movie I decided this should be my entry the week.

I ♥ this place but miss his face (I know that there isn't anything amazing about this photo but I love it)
