I heart faces - Celebrating Mom

>> Monday, May 10, 2010

My girls make me feel special all the time. They constantly want to do things for me, make things for me, and love on me. Gives me warm fuzzies. Yesterday I got at least 100 kisses from Piper alone :) Today I asked Violet to take a picture with me. It is rare that I am on the other end of the camera and most of the shots went straight in the trash but Violet just looked so pretty in this one and well I can crop myself almost completely out lol :)

No need to crop out your face! You look beautiful too. These are my favorite kind of pictures to take with my daughter. I actually feel less self conscious about myself when I am cheek-to-cheek with my own Violet.

It really is a poetic picture. It captures the beauty, the bond, the worry, the wonder, the love...of being a mom. I love it.

Beautiful! Us moms are really too hard on yourself. I am sure your daughter does not want you cropped out! Just think how special the photos will be to her when she is older.

That's a wonderful photo - you have to get out from behind the camera sometimes so they'll remember in the future that you were really there!
